Deicide "Serpents Of The Light: Remastered Edition"

About this item

Calling a Deicide album "more accessible" is kind of like calling a velociraptor less lethal than a T-Rex... you're gonna die either way. But on 1997's "Serpents Of The Light," the fourth album from the Tampa, FL, death-metal quartet, vocalist/bassist Glen Benton's rage-filled imprecations are a little more intelligible and songs like "Slave To The Cross" and "Blame It On God" do sport choruses that verge upon being hooky (if you have a meathook in mind). For its first-ever standalone, US vinyl release, Real Gone Music has remastered "Serpents Of The Light" and given it a colored vinyl pressing complete with an inner-sleeve featuring lyrics. LP includes a 12" x 24" poster. Track Listing: 1. Serpents Of The Light 2. Bastard Of Christ 3. Blame It On God 4. This Is Hell We're In 5. I Am No One 6. Slave To The Cross 7. Creatures Of Habit 8. Believe The Lie 9. The Truth Above 10. Father Baker's
