About this item
Perth, Australia's extreme isolation from the world has spawned a sound for the isolated. Gaoled take the buzzsaw guitars of the Sunlight Studios sound of Swedish death-metal bands like Entombed, Dismember, and Grave but played with the intensity, simplicity, and speed of powerviolence revivalists Mind Eraser and Extortion, topped by effects-riddled vocals that only add to the overall abrasiveness of the sound. Track Listing: 1. Becoming 2. Healthy 3. Thundercap 4. Terms 5. Waiting 6. Shafted 7. Relax 8. Tempt 9. Lined 10. Reassurance 11. Feed 12. Hospitalized 13. Voices 14. Khanate
