Marald Van Haasteren "Håkjerring: Søn" Giclee Print

About this item

"Håkjerring/ Magnus Hovmork asked if I wanted to make a design to accompany the release of a new song. He made a cover version of a song he hadn’t heard, but only saw the song's lyrics and melody/chords. Frøkedal & Familien, a Norwegian band, released a songbook & encourage people to make their own versions, which Magnus picked up.  SØN Pitch black is the color of dreams Light proof interior design Thick blankets and blinds It's all I got It's all I need To leave this place behind The only way out You all move like a flock of sheep Hear me howling Letting go of the sunlight There's a fire spreading on your screens Tell the people who keep stopping by to forget about me I no longer hear any of your ideas Let the records spin day and night Breathe in and breathe out You all move like a flock of sheep You all live in denial Hear me howling I'm letting go of the sunlight You all move like a flock of sheep You all live in denial To the fear in your bloodstream Hear me howling Letting go of the sunlight --- SØN means son in norwegian, but sounds like the english, Sun." -MVH "Håkjerring: Søn" is available as a museum quality giclee print in 3 sizes.
