About this item
Blending the most antisocial elements of Daughters, Nails, and Harvey Milk, Pittsburgh’s PURGE is the logical limit of ugly music. In the members’ teenage minds lurks an anxiety and contempt for modernity that bleeds into every track they write. Shows are exorcisms. Recordings are documentation of slow trauma. This is not posturing at depression and alienation; this is a deliberate sharing of those gross emotions. The band enters your head and forcefully removes your brain. Left with only your fight or flight mechanism, you are in the right state of mind to understand PURGE. Track Listing: 01. More Wolf Than Thee 02. Piss On The Marble 03. Backyard Wrestling 04. Chemo 05. Leper
