About this item
The Down House is a post-punk/shoegaze supergroup from Santa Rosa, CA featuring Ross Farrar (Ceremony) and Cody Sullivan (Sabertooth Zombie). Their EP, "Low" is a dreamscape of bright atmospheric guitars and languid yet flighty vocals that are anchored down by driving bass lines and percussion. Recorded at The Atomic Garden with Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Comadre), The Down House strikes the perfect balance between the enveloping melodies of shoegaze and the mid-tempo rhythmic tendencies of post-punk acts. FFO: Nothing, Beastmilk, Dead Man's Bones, Whirr Track Listing: 01. Old Shoes 02. Let it All Go 03. Bliss 04. Low
