PIYAKDU "The'e Chronicles Ov The'e Sonne-Heart, Part I" LP

About this item

Tunes, aura, and visuals inspired by the Wiz'rd ov Bharari: Naeku the'e Plowmanne, and Master Edmund Spenser's seething 16th c. pastoral "The Shepherd's Calendar". After nearly two years of waiting, and one and a half years in the making, PIYAKDU returns with their magnum opus, the fourth full-length offering from the mysterious mind of Baba Mithrandir, titled The Chronicles ov the'e Sonne-Heart, Part I. The story follows our dear protagonist Naeku's journey after ascending from this realm and reaching the gates of Heaven. We see him as a knight in armour, old and weather-hardened, weary from his lifelong battles in the Great Deserts of the Earth. However, it bears mentioning that he is not simply the “drunk” that he used to be, and that we knew him as. By the sheer power of his kind deeds and pure benevolence, we see him transformed into the Sonne-Heart: proud and golden, a warrior of truth and beauty. Tracklist: 01. Sonne Hath Bærnt Mé 02.
