RECOLLECTION "Intrusive Thoughts" 12" EP

About this item

The members of Recollection trade in aggression for vulnerability on their forthcoming Intrusive Thoughts EP set for release August 28th through DAZE. Originally formed between vocalist Josh Hynes (Rude Awakening, Hammer Bros) and guitarist Joshua Long (Skinhead, Criminal Instinct, Rude Awakening, Hammer Bros) coping with grief after the loss of a friend, the band debuted in 2025 with the striking Vivid Dreams EP (Pop Wig). Rounded out by bassist G (Hammer Bros, The World), drummer Snooka (Life’s End), guitarist Matt March (Hard Ca$h), and guitarist Joe Bradshaw (Stab), the members of Recollection have crafted four songs that are as dynamic as they are nostalgic with Intrusive Thoughts. Each track resonates on a different period of life, from “Lost In Translation,” navigating through finding your place in the modern world, to “Son” on the changes brought on you when becoming a parent. Each record comes with a silk screened B-side. Tracklist: 01. Lost In Translation 02. Turntable 03. Intrusive Thoughts 04. Son Pressing Information: 250 - Mustard
