About this item
The cult psychedelic rock band Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats is back at large—with their seventh and latest “crime against music,” *Shapes Of Midnight*, released on Killer Candy Records. Through live recordings on tape at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, using the finest EMI mixing console technology from the 1960s, the band has perfected their “Evil Beatles” sound with 45 minutes of raw, dark rock. By combining low-tuned, distorted guitars with two-part vocal harmonies, pop melodies, and subversive lyrics in the style of pulp horror novels, the band has created its own unique soundscape that is constantly evolving. Tracklist: 01. House By The Grave 02. Shapes Of Midnight 03. When Evil Wakes 04. Don’t Let It Control You 05. Psycho On The Loose 06. I Won’t Sleep (’Til You’re Gone) 07. The Other Side Of The Sky 08. Sleep No More
